Install InPoll freeInstalling in a sandbox?
Use this guide to install the free InPoll package in your Salesforce org and give admins access. For admins.
Before you start
- You need a Salesforce user with System Administrator permissions, or permission to install packages.
- Use the production install link for production orgs and the sandbox install link for sandboxes.
Install the package
- Click Install InPoll free at the top of this page. For a sandbox, click Installing in a sandbox? instead.
- Sign in to Salesforce as an admin.
- Choose who gets access, then click Install.
- Install for Admins Only: for you and your admin team.
- Install for All Users: for every user in your org.
- Install for Specific Profiles: only for the profiles you select.
- If Salesforce asks you to approve access, review it and allow it.
- Wait while Salesforce installs the package. This can take a few minutes.
- When the confirmation message appears, click Done.
Assign the InPoll Admin Permissions permission set
- Go to Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets.
- Open InPoll Admin Permissions.
- Click Manage Assignments, then click Add Assignments.
- Select the admins who will use InPoll, then complete the assignment.
After you install
Set up the survey site next. In the InPoll app, open the Surveys tab and click InPoll Settings in the left panel. The Survey site for respondents card guides you through five checked steps.
Good to know
- AI features also need this permission set. To use them, follow Set up AI with your OpenAI key.
