Remove logic from a question

Use this guide to remove logic from a question so it no longer controls which other questions appear. For survey creators.

Before you start

Remove logic from a question

Removing logic removes the dependencies between this question and the questions it controls.

1. On the Surveys tab, click the survey to open it in the builder.
2. Click the Questions tab.
3. Click Actions on the question that has logic, then Edit.
4. Click the Build Logic tab.
5. Click the delete icon at the right of the logic block you want to remove.

6. Repeat for any other logic block you want to remove.
7. Click Done.

Good to know

• Removing logic doesn't affect responses you have already collected.
• Removing logic can change the flow of the survey. Preview and test the survey again afterwards.
• When you remove the last logic block, the Has Logic badge disappears from the question.
• You can't change questions in a published survey that already has responses.
